Chelsea's Lucas Piazon suffers broken leg playing for loan club Fulham
Slavisa Jokanovic has confirmed Lucas Piazon suffered a broken leg during Fulham's draw with Leeds.
The Brazilian striker rejoined Fulham on a season-long loan from Chelsea this summer but was carried off in the 35th minute of Tuesday's 0-0 draw with Leeds.
Piazon, who scored in Fulham's previous two games before the stalemate at Elland Road, came off worse following a challenge by Conor Shaughnessy.
“It is a very bad injury and we are going to lose him for a long time,” Jokanovic said.
“We are so disappointed with the situation about Lucas Piazon, I expect he is going to recover soon and he will be available soon.
“I don’t believe Lucas will come back with us on the bus, I don’t know exactly if he is in hospital right now.”
