Chelsea and Arsenal will receive an allocation of 28,000 seats for the FA Cup Final, it has been confirmed.

The kick-off time of the Final, which had not previously been announced, has also been confirmed to be 5:30pm on Saturday May 27.

Both sides were in negotiations to increase their allowance for the Final, which will be approximately 28,000 seats each. Arsenal had received around 26,000 in 2014 and 2015 whilst both Crystal Palace and Manchester United received 28,650 for last year’s Final.

As has been the case for a number of years this allocation is lower than for the semi-finals, for which all four sides received around 33,000.

Both clubs will meet later in the week to decide who will be the nominal 'home' team at the Final.

Chelsea supporters will be seated in the west end of Wembley, as they were for their semi-final victory over Spurs.

Tickets will be priced between £45 and £115.

The final will be the first meeting between Arsenal and Chelsea in an FA Cup Final at Wembley. The London rivals faced off in 2002 at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, Freddie Ljungberg and Ray Parlour scoring the goals in a 2-0 win.
