Chelsea will face Leicester City in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.

Last year’s runners up took a big step towards fighting for the trophy again by beating Hull City at home on Friday evening.

In an action-packed first half, Antonio Conte’s side scored four goals without reply in game which was decided again by half-time. Brazilian forward Willian scored a brace, with Pedro also getting on the score sheet to take the tie away from the toothless Tigers after half an hour.

Olivier Giroud scored his first Chelsea goal in the 4-0 rout, with all eyes now on Saturday’s draw to see who the Blues ay face in the quarter-final.

The Blues made it through to the fifth round with a comfortable 3-0 win at home to Premier League strugglers Newcastle United.

The game was effectively over by half-time, as with the Magpies offering very little attacking threat, Michy Batshuayi scored a 13-minute brace to take the Blues in 2-0 to the good at the break.
