Eden Hazard is desperate to win next month's FA Cup Final and clinch the bragging rights over his international colleagues ahead of the World Cup.

Chelsea beat Southampton 2-0 in Sunday's semi-final to book a place in May's showpiece against Manchester United, who came from behind to beat Tottenham 2-1 a day earlier.

Hazard set up Giroud's opener as Chelsea unlocked the Saints defence early in the second half and the 27-year-old will now contest a second final in as many years.

The Blues were beaten 2-1 by London rivals Arsenal in the 2017 final at Wembley, but Hazard is determined to taste glory and says the chance to down compatriots Romelu Lukaku and Marouane Fellaini will provide an added incentive.

The Chelsea star said: “It’s always nice to play against friends, but we will have to win that game otherwise I’ll have to hear [about it] during the World Cup.

"It’s up to us now to prepare that game well. After the Premier League we’ll have time to focus on the final, we are playing for the trophies.”

Giroud is targeting a fourth FA Cup winners' medal in five seasons after three triumphs with Arsenal in recent years.

And Hazard believes the Frenchman could be key to Chelsea's chances.

He added: “I hope that we will win it this time – last year we sadly lost the final. But we have Olivier Giroud now. He often wins finals. Certainly the FA Cup.”
