Chelsea youngster Fankaty Dabo scores 40-yard own goal at Vitesse Arnhem

Chelsea youngster Fankaty Dabo suffered a moment to forget on Sunday after netting an incredible 40-yard own goal for his loan club Vitesse Arnhem against Groningen.

The defender, who is spending the season on loan with the Eredivisie side, got the ball near the touchline but, under pressure from the opposition, he decided to clip the ball back toward goal.

Unfortunately for Vitesse, the ball flew over shot-stopper, Jeroen Houwen's head and into the back of the net to level the score at 1-1.

Vitesse had been winning the league clash 1-0 thanks to an own goal from the hosts, and managed to re-take the lead following Dabo's mistake.
