Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek helped England Under-21s to a 4-0 win over Denmark's youngsters with a fine brace in Randers on Monday.

Aidy Boothroyd's side got off to the perfect start in just the 11th minute after Loftus-Cheek received Jacob Murphy's ball from the left and drove in a low, long-range shot into the bottom corner of the net.

Solly March then doubled the visitors' advantage after Denmark lost possession in their own half.

Loftus-Cheek was involved as he sent the ball into the path of March, who then unleashed a superb curling effort from the right which hurtled into the goal.

Cauley Woodrow added a third from close range and Loftus-Cheek rounded off an impressive individual display with a crisp drive from the edge of the penalty area.

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte will be particularly happy with Loftus-Cheek's performance in the game, with the midfielder having been used as a substitute in the Premier League this term.

He has, however, impressed with the England Under-21 side, and is expected to feature when the team play Sweden, hosts Poland and Slovakia at Euro 2017 this summer.

The tournament starts on June 16 until June 30 and will have 12 teams this year - up from the eight that have competed at every edition since 2000.
