Cher has revealed that she celebrated her 74th birthday with a surprise social distancing party complete with masks and gloves.
The Believe singer reached the milestone on Wednesday (May 20) and did not let the coronavirus pandemic stop her having a good time.
She posted a message on Twitter saying she was thrown a surprise bash, which was held outside, and that the 10 people at the party made sure they were socially distancing.

“Had great surprise party,” said the star.
Adding balloon, present and cake emojis, she went on: “We were outside, masks gloves, & social distancing.
“Hardest part, social distancing, not easy!!
“Being outside helped.10 ppl. There was cake.”
The singer added that she hoped she and her friends “did it right”.
“It’s not easy,” she admitted. “A million things you’re used to doing that you can’t do.”

Cher said in another message thanking her crew and fans: “What can I say… you guys are the best and I can’t believe I’m so ‘old’ and ‘still crazy after all these yrs’.
“I can’t find words to thank you for all you’ve don’t (sic) for me.”
Many of Cher’s fans said they celebrated her birthday along with her, with their own little parties at home.
“We had cupcakes in my house to celebrate you,” said one person on Twitter, while another person posted: “I celebrated your birthday at home.
“I don’t know how to bake so I just bought chocolate cake.”
Cher found fame in the 60s as one half of the husband and wife duo Sonny & Cher and went on to enjoy a hugely successful solo career, with big chart hits such as If I Could Turn Back Time, One By One and Believe.
