Fancy a quick cringe? Well I’ve got just the thing for you.
Cheryl’s ex, Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini, was asked in an interview about her and Liam Payne’s new baby, and his response was one of the most awkward moments in TV I’ve ever had the pleasure to experience. So thanks for that, JB.
During an interview with Good Morning Britain’s Richard Arnold, JB, who is currently at Cannes Film Festival and was, I assume, told by GMB that he’d be interviewed about his pop-up restaurant, was forced to deflect a question about Bear Payne.
Richard began by asking the restaurateur: "Are you in a good place now?"
Jean-Bernard replied: "Yeah, I couldn't be more happy. It's my new venture, it started last night and went very well. We have a good week ahead."
And then Richard did it. He went and did it – he asked JB, "Do you have a message for Cheryl? She's just had a baby."
JB responded: "Well, it's the Cannes Festival, we might as well focus on making this the best festival. It's the first time with my venture here. I just want to make it count and make it big."

Bravo, JB. Bravo.
Unsurprisingly, the interview came to a painful and fairly sudden end, and when it was time to go back to presenters Susanna Reid and Ben Shephard, she simply said, “#Awks”
Couldn’t have said it better myself, Susanna.
