Cheryl believes late bandmate Sarah Harding sent a sign through Girls Aloud song

The singer said a Girls Aloud song suddenly came on in her car and she felt it was from Harding

Cheryl has said she believes her late bandmate Sarah Harding sent her a sign through Girls Aloud’s music.

The singer said she was in the car when one of the group’s songs started playing and she felt it was from Harding, who died in 2021 at the age of 39 after battling breast cancer .

Speaking to Gay Times, Cheryl said: “A song started playing in me car without me car being switched onto Bluetooth or plugged in, and it was a Girls Aloud song.

“It was Hear Me Out by Girls Aloud, which is even more random because that song… I would have to search back God knows where, I wouldn’t know where to look for it at this point.”

“Very specific, and Sarah called her book Hear Me Out after that song, so I just knew it was from her,” she added.

Cheryl previously told her fans of her grief over Harding, saying that her heart was “heavy”.

"Grief is such a harsh experience and an absolute rollercoaster of emotions,” she wrote on Instagram after the singer passed away.

“Questions without answers and pain without resolve."

"So tumultuous and constant," she added.

Harding revealed in August 2020 that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer and that it had spread.

Her mother Marie announced in September 2021 that she had passed away, saying her “beautiful” daughter was “a bright shining star”.

Bandmate Kimberley Walsh recently admitted she didn't think the group would perform together again, saying on This Morning that it may be "too painful".
