Cheryl Fernandez-Versini And Nicola Roberts Disrupt Elf Musical By Cheering On Kimberley Walsh - EXCLUSIVE

Ever since it was revealed that Elf The Musical was coming to the West End, Christmas lovers across the country were beside themselves with excitement, and when it was announced that Zooey Deschanel’s film character, Jovie, was to be played by former Girls Aloud Star Kimberley Walsh, we just knew that this was going to be a recipe for success.

And it looks like we weren’t the only ones who were super excited by the whole thing as we spotted Kimberley’s bandmates and BFFs, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Nicola Roberts, sneaking into a private box at the London press night on Thursday 5th November.

Chezza took the night off from her X Factor mentoring duties and left hubby Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini at home as she enjoyed a girly night out showing her support to Kim.

Although the two stars were keen to keep to themselves initially, we can exclusively reveal that the proud pals couldn’t help but woop and cheer the moment that Kimberley made her stage debut, disrupting the performance and instantly drawing attention to themselves.

Still, when you’re proud of your mate you don’t really care who knows it, do you?

The interruption meant that during the interval dozens of fans in the audience flocked to get a better view of the gorgeous ladies, and they were more than happy to wave as they posed for pics together.

Nicola and Cheryl clearly enjoyed the show as they leaned forward with massive grins on their face every time that their bandmate took to the stage, and they were quick to jump to their feet at the end of the performance to give the entire cast and crew a standing ovation.

Clearly seeking out her friends as she took her bow, Kimberley erupted into an ecstatic grin when she spotted them and promptly blew the duo kisses - with Chez and Nic responding by wildly waving their arms and blowing kisses right back at her.

After the show Cheryl took to her Twitter account to congratulate Kim on her brilliant performance, writing: “So proud of you @KimberleyJWalsh you were amazing !!!!

“Congrats to all the cast and crew ]]>🙌🏼
