After the release of her comeback single 'Love Made Me Do It', Cheryl has released a line of merchandise to accompany it.

However, one of the items featured an unfortunate grammatical error.

She's been promoting her new track-inspired clothing on Instagram, writing alongside one snap of her in a hoodie: "I got cute hoodies link in bio if you wanna check them out."

However, the item containing a spelling mistake read: "Love made me do it (it was'nt my fault)."

Of course, the £44.99 hoodie should read: "Love made me do it (it wasn't my fault)."

The error has now been fixed on Cheryl's official website.

The ex-Girls Aloud star made her music comeback last month with new single 'Love Made Me Do It', but after a controversial performance on The X Factor, the star hit out at the "relentless abuse" she received.

"I let a lot of things lie but the sheer level of unbalanced negativity towards me in the tabloid press these past few days has been quite frankly shocking and I need to address it," she shared on Twitter.

"This level of relentless abuse should not be tolerated in any walk of life."

In particular, Cheryl was understandably upset over the scrutiny about her "appearance", "body size" and "shape" in the discussion, calling it all "totally uncalled for".
