Cheryl To Quit The X Factor?

It feels like she has only been back for five minutes but it has been reported that Cheryl is thinking about quitting The X Factor.

Cor, there will be no judges left at this rate.

Chezza is apparently having ‘make or break’ talks with Simon Cowell in Los Angeles this week as she tries to decide whether or not she wants to return to the ITV talent show.

Speaking to The Mirror, an insider explained: “It’s a critical time and the talks will be a big factor in determining how the show looks this year.

"Cheryl will be the one who makes the decision on her future - she and Simon are great friends and he’s totally supportive of her decision, whatever that turns out to be.

"They’ve got the show’s best interests at heart and aren’t rushing into anything. The talks could continue for some time.”

Cheryl’s departure comes after Nick Grimshaw quit the judging panel earlier this year and Dermot O'Leary returned as the host of the show after Caroline Flack and Olly Murs got the boot.

And it sounds like Derm might not be the only one having a grand return, with it being speculated that Louis Walsh and Sharon Osbourne are set to make a comeback.

A source told the Sunday People: “Simon really wants Louis back. He wants his friend back by his side like the good old days.

"But he’s coming up against resistance from producers, who are less certain about Louis’ return. No decision will be made until Simon has this meeting with a top 'X Factor’ official in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

"If Louis isn’t back on board, then Sharon won’t be. She likes the idea of the original panel and is very nervous about returning. She will only do so if Louis does too.

"Louis is desperate to get back on X Factor and he’s doing all he can to make it happen.”

Something tells us that ITV bosses are realising that they may have made a bit of a mistake with all of last year’s changes…
