A Cheshire man has now been missing for more than two weeks as police continue their search. Officers say they are growing 'increasingly concerned' and are now appealing to the public for help in tracing him.

Wayne Booth, from Warrington, was reported missing on Thursday 10 October, but was last seen over two weeks ago.

The 29-year-old is described as white, around six feet tall, with ginger hair and green eyes. Booth also has links to Widnes and Runcorn.

Inspector Nick Bamber said: "It has now been over 14 days since Wayne was last seen and we are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.

"Officers have been conducting a number of enquiries in order to locate Wayne and as part of our ongoing investigation, we are now asking members of the public to please contact us if they have any information regarding his whereabouts.

"Wayne resides in Warrington but also has links to several different areas within Cheshire, so it is possible he may have travelled to either Widnes or Runcorn. I would urge everyone in those areas to contact us if they believe they may have seen him - the same goes for anyone who may have captured Wayne on any CCTV, Ring doorbell or dashcam footage.

"I would also like to appeal to Wayne directly, to please get in touch with us to let us know you are okay, your family are, understandably, very worried about you."

Anyone with any information regarding Wayne Booth's whereabouts is asked to contact Cheshire Police via the website or on 101 quoting IML-1936656.
