MPs have voted in favour of creating a "smoke-free generation" as well as introducing more regulation on vaping. You can find out how your Cheshire MP voted in the Tobacco and Vapes Bill by using our interactive gadget.

The bill, which cleared its first hurdle in the House of Commons last night, will prohibit the sale of tobacco to people born on or after January 1, 2009. Under-18s will also be prohibited from buying all vaping and nicotine products, and new rules will also be brought in about advertising of these products.

With 415 votes in favour and 47 against, the bill has passed its second reading in the House of Commons. It will now enter the committee stage before a third and final reading in the Commons, after which it will be passed to the House of Lords.
