Cheshire Road Blocked by Fallen Tree During Storm Hannah

Wind gusts of up to 48 mph brought down a tree blocking a residential street in Cheshire, north west England, on April 27 during Storm Hannah.

Neil Franky Mac, who filmed the video, said that another tree came down shortly afterwards.

He told Storyful: “We were supposed to be picking up a friend but couldn’t leave the house, she had to get a cab and climb around the trees.”

As the storm moved eastwards into the UK, an estimated 11,000 households in Ireland were left without electricity after being hit the night before.

The Met Office said at around 10 am that the strongest winds had passed. Credit: Neil Franky Mac via Storyful
