The clip, which has been viewed more than 5.4 million times, was shared by a user named @searchforthevibe. Her video appears to show a Chick-fil-A drive-thru worker taking orders … from her bedroom?
“Home girl just took my order from home,” the TikToker captioned her post.
To be clear, it’s hard to say for sure that the employee in @searchforthevibe’s video is calling in from home. Also, if they are, it’s tough to say why.
Still, TikTok users had plenty of thoughts about the clip. Many were extremely surprised by the “unreal” exchange.
“If this is real, this is incredible,” one user wrote.
“What’s the point of this? I don’t understand,” another added.
“Is this stuff even legal LOL?” another asked.
Others had more specific questions, like why the iPad was even necessary. Some wondered why the worker was still in uniform if she was calling from home.
A few users found too many issues with the clip, accusing @searchforthevibe of faking it. The TikToker responded to that claim with a follow-up video, in which she also tried her best to answer some of her commenters’ questions.
“It’s very much real,” she assured her followers.
