Child, 4, and woman rushed in hospital after being struck by car in Scots town
A four-year-old child was taken to hospital after being struck by a car in a Scots town.
Emergency crews raced to Whitletts Road in Ayr following a collision between a vehicle and two pedestrians at around 4.40pm on Friday, November 15.
The four-year-old and a 34-year-old woman were taken to hospital for treatment. The extent of their injuries is unknown.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 4.40pm on Friday, November 15, officers were called to reports of a collision involving a vehicle and two pedestrians.
"A 4-year-old child and a 34-year-old woman were taken to hospital for treatment."
