Children of Aleppo Town Compete in 'Olympics' Organized by Locals

Children in a rebel-held Aleppo province town have been getting a taste of normal life in recent days thanks to an athletics competition organized in the town.

Local reports said the events were organized by the Elite Sports Club in the town of al-Jeineh. Some 200 children were due to compete over four days, with events such as sprints, hurdles and long jump being held on makeshift courses. Credit: YouTube/Smart News via Storyful
