Children followed by balaclava-clad men wearing surgical gloves near Bath

Children were followed by a group of men wearing balaclavas and blue surgical gloves near Bath. Investigating officers from Avon and Somerset Police are appealing for witnesses following the incident in Combe Down.

Police said three teenagers were followed at around 4.15pm on Thursday, October 17. The men, who were all dressed in black, followed them on North Road, Tyning Road and Church Road.

An investigation has now been launched and officers are appealing to the public for information. They are encouraging anyone with any knowledge of what happened to come forward.

Neighbourhood Inspector Jon Nash said: “We fully recognise the concern this incident has caused and we continue to work to identify the offenders. Footage of the incident has been reviewed and extra patrols have been carried out in the area since this happened and we would encourage anyone who has any information to come forward.”
