Children Play in Flooded Street as Typhoon Hits Philippines

Streets flooded near Laguna Lake in Luzon as Typhoon Kammuri – locally dubbed Tisoy – passed near the Philippine capital of Manila on Tuesday, December 3.

Storm surges of up to three meters were reported, while maximum sustained winds of up to 140 km/h and gusts of 195 km/h were estimated by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration.

About 200,000 people were reportedly evacuated from coastal areas.
