Oct. 31 (UPI) -- A Chinese food company broke the Guinness World Record for the largest cup of instant rice noodles by cooking up 112 pounds of instant luosifen.

The Guangxi Luobawang Food Technology Co. used a 4.3-foot-tall container to cook the serving of luosifen, which is composed of boiled rice noodles in a soup of stewed river snails and pork bones.

The soup, which also contains vinegar, chilli oil, peanuts, dried tofu skin and bean curd sticks, gets its famous fecal-like odor from the sour bamboo shoots spread on the top.

The world record serving of luosifen was served to employees in the company's cafeteria.
