Chinese firefighters rescue motorist impaled by metal bar after smashing through central reservation

Firefighters rescued a motorist impaled by a bar after smashing his car into the central reservation on a road in central China. The CCTV video, filmed in the city of Hanchuan in Hubei Province on March 18, shows a car crashing into a road's central reservation. In another clip, an ambulance drove to the site and firefighters and paramedics were seen attempting to rescue the injured motorist. The motorist named Li was sent to hospital. Although Li had three broken ribs, he was not in life-threatening condition. According to reports, the motorist's misoperation combined with the road's wet surface caused the incident.
