A popular family-run chippy near Glasgow is putting their own twist on a viral takeaway dish that's taking TikTok by storm.
If you've been on any social media of late you might have come across the 'spice bag' - a Chinese takeaway dish that's become an Irish institution and comes with deep-fried salt and chilli chips, salt and chilli chicken, peppers, onions, and spices served with curry sauce
And now Hook & Catch x Tuck Shakk on Milngavie Road in Bearsden, have created the 'Scottish spice bag'.
The team, known for their innovative creations, have put together the dish, comprising battered sausage with salt and chilli seasoning and curry sauce loaded chips.

Sounds delicious right? Posting on Facebook, the team said: "This is a Scottish twist on comfort food that you NEED to try!"
Speaking about the unique offering, they said: "We already do a normal Irish spice box, so we thought why not have a Scottish one? Who doesn't love battered sausage?
"The reaction has been amazing, any time we put something like this on our social media it seems to get a fantastic reaction from the community and further beyond."
Though it's not on their main menu, they revealed that if it continues to sell well it might become a permanent addition.
Priced at £8.50 you can get it from the shop itself or order it from them online.
Hook & Catch x Tuck Shakk hit the headlines in 2021, when they shared a video of them deep-frying a mini Colin the Caterpillar, and also when they famously deep-fried a battered roll and chips which got them over 4 million views on TikTok.
They've also just started doing panko breaded deep fried Mars Bars which they call the Mary from Maryhill Mars Bar.
