A popular Cadbury’s product which has been missing from shop shelves for a decade is set to return this Christmas.

The confectionary giant, which is based in Bournville, has annouced its Dairy Milk Christmas Chocolate Coins are making a comeback for the 2023 festive season.

The coins are perfectly round, milk chocolate discs individually wrapped in gold packaging, and were once considered one of the ultimate chocolate treats for Christmas, available in supermarkets up and down the UK by December.

But since 2014, the coins have been non-existent - until now. In a post on Instagram, Cadbury said: “Get ready because Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate Coins are coming back after a decade! Hope you’re as thrilled as we are.”

Fans were thrilled to hear the chocolate treats are returning to shelves, and the coins are currently available to buy in stores now

Responding to the post on Instagram, one person commented: “Yessss... now can you bring back Sprias please.”

Another said: “Yesss! Can’t wait.” And one said: “Gonna have to try some of these this year!!”.

Another person wrote: “I was looking for those last Christmas. I didn’t think they’d not been around for 10 years.”
