Yahoo News Chris Evans admits Ghosted "could have been better"
Chris Evans has reflected on the reception of his recent movie Ghosted, suggesting it "could have been better".
The Apple TV+ film was released back in April, and saw the Marvel star reunite with Knives Out co-star Ana de Armas.
The story follows a man called Cole Turner (Evans) who ends up traversing the globe with superspy Sadie Rhodes (de Armas) after they spend the night together.

The movie was largely slated by critics, and stands at 26% fresh on Rotten Tomatoes – though was a huge success on Apple TV+, becoming the streamer's most-watched exclusive within its first few days of release.
Speaking about what drew him to doing the movie, Evans told GQ: “Ghosted to me felt like a movie that I grew up on, a movie that maybe we don’t see very much anymore. And the question is whether or not audiences have outgrown those types of films.”
The star admitted that was a question that he had "both" going in and coming out of it, elaborating: "I didn’t think audiences had outgrown it prior, and I still don’t think they have, despite the fact, I mean, technically I think we did okay on, in terms of viewership.

"Critics didn’t like it," he added. "But that’s more the fault of the movie as opposed to the appetite of the audience. I think the appetite’s there, if it’s done properly. We could have been better.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Evans spoke a bit about what he would like to do outside of acting, saying he wants to smoke weed and "get into pottery".
"I like autonomous things. I'd like to just smoke a joint, put on some music, and like, get into pottery," he said. "You know what I mean? Seth Rogen [who has recently started selling ceramics], what he's doing. It's good for you, man."
Ghosted is streaming on Apple TV+ now.
