Talking Dead host Chris Hardwick is returning to moderate The Walking Dead's New York Comic-Con panel following allegations of abuse against him from former girlfriend Chloe Dykstra.

Back in June, actress Dykstra published an essay detailing allegations of emotional and sexual abuse by an ex-boyfriend. Although she didn't name Hardwick, the presenter publicly denied sexually assaulting her.

According to The Wrap(via Screen Rant), Hardwick will be returning to NYCC as panel moderator for The Walking Dead. Hardwick has moderated the show's NYCC panel since 2010.

The panel, which is held at Madison Square Garden, will feature TWD stars Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Danai Gurira, Melissa McBride, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

It will also feature the show's executive producer/showrunner Angela Kang, executive producer/chief content officer Scott M Gimple, executive producers Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd, and Dave Alpert, and special effects makeup supervisor/executive producer Greg Nicotero.

Last month, Hardwick was in tears as he returned to AMC's Talking Dead following the abuse claims made against him.

During the episode, he thanked fans for "all your support", explaining: "I really just want to take a minute and I want to say that I'm so appreciative to be standing here right now, and I want to thank you, The Walking Dead community, for all your support over these past couple months."

Hardwick continued: "And I've said the following words a million times, countless times, [and] I've never been more thankful than I am in this moment to say to you: I am Chris Hardwick and this is Talking Dead."
