Chris Hemsworth lands next lead movie role
Chris Hemsworth is set to take on his dreamiest role yet, starring as the lead in Disney's upcoming Prince Charming movie.
According to Deadline, the Thor actor is in talks to play the iconic prince in Disney's recently confirmed new project, which will be directed by Paddington and Wonka's Paul King.
Though Disney has provided no comment on Hemsworth's involvement, the movie is reportedly in development, with Simon Farnaby and Jon Croker serving as co-writers alongside King.

The character of Prince Charming has appeared in various fairy tales, but is most often associated with Disney's Cinderella. However, while plot details are being kept under wraps, reports claim that the movie will not specifically be linked to Cinderella.
Meanwhile, Hemsworth is appear in a four-part movie series called Stuntnuts, which follows a group of athletes who try to raise funds for the gym where they all trained.
In an unusual role, the actor will be guest starring as himself in the first instalment of the series, titled Stuntnuts: The Movie.
Directed by stunt co-ordinator Damien Walters, the movie will see a core group of stunt artists who appear across the series, each with their own nut-inspired nickname.

"They use their athletic and gymnastic skills to hire themselves out as stuntmen," read the film's official synopsis.
Elsewhere, the Marvel icon recently starred as Optimus Prime in the animated Transformers movie, Transformers One.
Described as the franchise's origin story, the movie explains how best friends Orion Pax/Optimus Prime (Hemsworth) and D-16/Megatron (Brian Tyree Henry) went from brothers-in-arms to sworn enemies.
Transformers One is out now in cinemas, and is available to buy or rent from Prime Video, iTunes and more in the US.
