Chris Hemsworth has delighted fans by showing off his naked 'god bod' in the latest trailer for Thor: Love and Thunder.

The 38-year-old Australian actor returns as the God of War in the fourth Thor movie, revealing he has returned to peak physical form, after MCU fans last saw him unfit and overweight in Avengers: Endgame.

The trailer shows Thor working out saying: "He got in shape. He went from dad bod to god bod."

Before Natalie Portman appears as his ex-girlfriend Jane Foster, aka Mighty Thor, and takes his hammer.

Christian Bale is then revealed as villain Gorr The God Butcher and the trailer ends with Russell Crowe as God of Thunder Zeus, humiliating Thor by flicking off his disguise in front of his entire court.

Hemsworth is then shown completely in the nude from behind, shouting: "You flicked too hard dammit!"

His posterior has been pixilated out.

Portman as Jane and Tessa Thompson as King Valkyrie watch Thor standing naked in chains and Jane asks: "Shall we help him."

Valkyrie replies: "Eventually, grape?" as they enjoy the view.

Fans on social media also appear to be enjoying the view with many praising Hemsworth's ripped god bod, while some are frustrated with Disney for censoring the trailer.

The film is the fourth solo Thor movie following 2017's box-office hit Thor: Ragnarok. The movie includes an all-star casts and will once again be directed by two-time Academy Award winner, Taika Waititi.

In an interview with the BBC, Waititi described Thor: Love and Thunder as “very romantic”.

The film was shot at Fox Studios in Sydney, Australia, in 2021 and it utilises the same StageCraft virtual production technology that was used in Disney+ Star Wars series The Mandalorian.

Thor: Love and Thunder will be released on 8 July 2022. Like a lot of Marvel releases, it has experienced several delays.

It was originally set for release on 5 November, 2021 but was delayed to 18 February, 2022 by the COVID-19 pandemic. It was subsequently moved up to 11 February once Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness was rescheduled from November 2021 to March 2022.

It was delayed once again to 6 May, 2022, before shifting to the July 2022 date in October 2021.

The film follows Thor on a quest for inner peace, but this is interrupted by galactic killer Gorr the God Butcher whose aim is destroy all the gods.

Thor teams up with King Valkyrie, Korg (Taika Waititi) and Foster in a bid to stop Gorr and much mayhem and adventure occurs along the way.

Thor: Love and Thunder will be released on 8 July, 2022.
