Chris Hemsworth "weirdly shaken" meeting Chris Pratt
Everyone knows Star-Lord would be a pretty cool guy to hang out with – even Thor thinks so
Marvel's God of Thunder Chris Hemsworth has spoken about how he found working with Guardians of the Galaxy's Chris Pratt on Avengers: Infinity War... and it seems he made quite an impression.
Hemsworth told ELLE: "The first time I really met Chris Pratt – and went on set with him and the Guardians – I was weirdly shaken."
Laughing, he added: "I don't know why. He's just so charismatic. And good at what he does."
Now that's a buddy movie we'd like to see, although we'll settle for Mark Ruffalo's description of Thor: Ragnarok as a Thor/Hulk "buddy picture" for now.
Cate Blanchett (who pays Hela, the Asgardian goddess of death) will also be making a big impression on the MCU in Ragnarok – just as she did on Hemsworth during filming.
He recalled: "She calls you on your shit straightaway. Which is intimidating.
"You walk in and you're doing all the usual polite chats, and she's like, 'Chris, what are you doing? Really, that's the story you're gonna tell?' And you're like, 'Shit, I'm not going to get away with anything with this lady. I have to drop the facade.'
"There's quite a feeling of wanting to impress her. She's like, 'I'm a human being. Act normal.' Before you know it, you're drinking and telling stories and cracking jokes. She has a wild sense of humour."
Chris Hemsworth was speaking to ELLE for its September issue.
Thor: Ragnarok is due for release on October 27 in the UK and November 3 in the US.
