Chris McCausland reviving BBC Strictly classic with week one song choice

There will be echoes of a classic BBC Strictly Come Dancing moment when Chris McCausland first takes to the stage. Not only will he be the first blind person on the Saturday night show, but he's also bringing back a Strictly classic.

The comic is performing a Cha Cha with partner Dianne Buswell on week one - to 'Twist and Shout' by The Beatles. It will evoke memories for many a Strictly fan as legenday contestant John Sergeant and partner Kristina Rihanoff once famously performed to it.

They are not the only ones Cha Cha-ing on the first night - Dr Punam Krishan and Gorka Márquez will also face that dance, opting for Kylie Minogue's 'Love at First Sight'.
