Chris Pratt faces backlash from vegetarians after 'bragging' about killing 'happiest lambs on the planet'

Chris Pratt has faced a blacklash on social media after posting a video to his followers “bragging” about eating the “happiest lambs in the world”.

The actor returned to his Instagram account after a mini-hiatus with a new ‘what’s my snack’ video in which he revealed he has been farming lambs for the past six months.

The Guardians Of The Galaxy star showed off his empty bowl and proudly told his viewers: “I’m eating lamb, fresh farm-to-table lamb. They are the happiest lambs on the planet, they are so sweet and then one day they wake up dead and they’re in my freezer.”

Pratt also posted a picture of raw lamb produce, saying: “Look at all this glorious food! We will eat off him for a month.

“His wool is becoming yarn as we speak. He lived a very good life. He was groomed and shorn, his hooves medicated, de wormed, no antibiotics necessary. Surrounded by laughing loving humans, including children to whom they provided such joy. Nuzzled, pet and loved every day.”

The actor added that the lamb had a “trauma free” death which he compared to “unplugging a television”.

But the 38-year-old was slammed by unhappy vegans and vegetarians who railed against Pratt for his “disgusting bragging”.

Incensed, one user wrote: “Chris Pratt is garbage. His views on animals are regressive and disgusting.”
