The model was criticised by Twitter users who believed she was holding her baby daughter ‘incorrectly’.

In a comment about a photo of the mum-of-one out and about with her six-month-old and husband John Legend, one Twitter user wrote: “This is not how a baby is held.”

Within hours, Chrissy shut down the comment, responding: “Really because that’s how I’m f**king holding her.”

“Let me know how you hold your baby when she’s about [to get] into a stroller and there are 20 camera flashes at night,” she replied.

She followed that up with: “Photos are literally split-second moments in time that evolve. I despise mommy shamers. I am a proud shamer of mommy shamers.”

“There are incorrect ways to hold infants whether shielding her from a fire or pap!”

“Please, do shut up,” she replied.

The follower then added: “I don’t give a crap where that baby popped out from! Do not hold a baby like a handbag!”

To which the Sports Illustrated star responded: “Well you hold your handbag like a f*****g idiot then.”

Chrissy recently made her Twitter private after saying that she ‘wasn’t strong enough’ to put up with the constant online criticism.

This isn’t the first time she has fallen victim to harsh criticism about her parenting skills.

Just two weeks after giving birth Chrissy was condemned on social media for being photographed going for dinner without her daughter.

“I went to dinner. People are pissed,” she tweeted along with a screenshot of negative comments. After one follower asked her “How’s baby Luna?” Teigen jokingly responded: “I dunno I can’t find her.”
