Yahoo News Chrissy Teigen hits back at Instagram 'parenting police' over fears she'd 'break daughter's legs'
Chrissy Teigen has responded to the Instagram ‘parenting police’ in true Chrissy Teigen style after she was accused of risking “breaking her daughter’s legs” when she shared a photo of herself and 20-month-old Luna playing on a slide.
In the photo, the pregnant model has the toddler sitting on her lap at the top of a play area slide, she captioned the image: “Weeeee are very skeptical of slides right now [sic]”.

Whilst some of Chrissy’s fans gushed about the sweet image and commented on how adorable Luna is, others showed concern about the placement of the little girl’s legs – warning that going down the slide in such a way could be damaging.
Some of her followers also warned that adults should never go down a slide with a child on their lap for health and safety reasons.
Responding to the critics, a typically sarcastic Chrissy retorted: “Wish you guys would have told me about the leg thing earlier. They broke. Both of them.

“And everyone else’s in the park broke too just from watching it happen.
“There are so many broken legs here. (Heads up, photos are a one second moment in time, I was lifting her onto my lap).”
The comment immediately racked up thousands of likes as Chrissy’s fans praised her witty comeback to the “mummy shamers”.

This is far from the first time that Chrissy has been forced to defend her parenting, hitting the headlines shortly after Luna was born when she and her husband John Legend went out for dinner without their newborn.
Responding to a fan asking how Luna was doing following the outrage, Chrissy simply replied: “I dunno, I can’t find her”.
