Chrissy Teigen and John Legend Went on This Epic Valentine's Day Date
Chrissy Teigen and John Legend truly have a love worthy of the celebrity-romance storybooks. They post thoughtful birthday tributes to each other, pose for picture-perfect Vanity Fair covers, and Legend even made a Valentine's Day tribute to his wife's "perfectly unique feet" on Ellen.
But the TV tribute was only a small part of the couple's Valentine's Day plans. They also hired a private jet to fly from where they live in Beverly Hills to share dinner at the French Laundry in Yountville, California. Teigen shared photos of the date on her Instagram story, starting with snaps of her and Legend all dressed up and ready for their date night.
In this shot from Teigen's video Legend listens to something on his phone while he's sitting pretty in his formal red suit.
Teigen played with some filters.
Once they were at the famous Northern California restaurant, Teigen shared a photo of their caviar—a fancy meal for a fancy day. But as Martha Stewart is aware, some food just doesn't photograph well, no matter what you do.
They also took this photo, which is much more aesthetically pleasing:
Legend, who hosted the Valentine's Day episode of Ellen, started his wife's day off with heart-shaped pancakes. He took a video of the pancakes cooking while his daughter, Luna, watched the magic happen.

It looks like Legend spent a lot of time in the kitchen these past couple days; he also cooked fried chicken for his family on Valentine's Day eve. This way Luna and her brother, Miles, got a fancy dinner before Mom and Dad had their date night out.

Looks like Luna would give her dad's restaurant five stars for sure.
