Chrissy Teigen reveals how she celebrated John Legend's EGOT status

Chrissy Teigen has revealed how she celebrated husband John Legend’s Emmy win earlier this month – and it was not as “freaky” as their first date.

Legend last week became a fully-fledged member of the EGOT club – stars who have won an Oscar, a Grammy, a Tony and an Emmy – after his win for NBC’s Jesus Christ Superstar.

And the loved-up couple, who married in 2013, celebrated the special occasion in their own way, opting not to get “freaky” between the sheets but to dine out on In-N-Out Burger.

In response to a fan question on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Teigen admitted: “What’s the lowest amount of freaky? Like we didn’t do anything. Nothing. I’d lost my voice, I had to tape an episode of Lip Sync Battle. We got In-N-Out.”

But Teigen did hint that she got “freaky” with Legend early on in their relationship.

The model recalled how they had spent the entire day together for their first date before stepping up the romance later that evening.

Teigen said: “We were on a music video set all day together, and then I went to one of his shows, and then… yeah…,” she added before smiling.

Legend’s win in Los Angeles earlier this month saw him join an exclusive winners’ list including Andrew Lloyd Webber, Audrey Hepburn, Mel Brooks and Whoopi Goldberg.

His victory was awarded for Outstanding Variety Special (Live) for his role as producer on NBC’s Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert.

Teigen and Legend have two children together, two-year-old Luna and four-month-old Miles.
