Punters at a Teesside pub have been hit with a strict new dress code.

The Wobbly Goblin rolled out its new policy on Sunday evening which bans anyone wearing designer £500 plus Christian Louboutin's or Ugg boots. Revellers who have head, neck or face tattoos won't be allowed into the late bar and nightspot on Park Terrace.

The Stockton boozer posted a status on Facebook to inform customers of the nine new rules. However, some seemed less than impressed by the dress code as the post received more than 200 comments.

Here’s the new dress code for The Wobbly Goblin, taken from the bar’s Facebook page.

  • No head, neck or face tattoos

  • No big boss logos

  • No gilet jackets

  • No bubble trainers

  • No big rings/big chains

  • No sliders/flip flops (have to be raised off the floor)

  • No Christian Louboutin's

  • No ugg boots/ugg shoes

  • Big puffers must be placed in the cloakroom

One person commented that she “”used to go in here after work on a weekend a lot of years ago and the best part of the wobbly was the edgy people in there!” Other users added “good look with that” and “that’s hilarious”.
