If you've ever watched Christina on the Coast, you're probably familiar with Christina Anstead's longtime BFF Cassie Zebisch. Not only has Zebisch, who works in public relations, appeared on the series several times (including when she planned Anstead's baby shower which included a plant-a-succulent station!), but she's also the godmother of Anstead's first child, Taylor El Moussa. The women have been friends for over two decades; they even have a cute nickname for their friendship.

It's no surprise that when Anstead announced her separation earlier this month, Zebisch was by her side. In an exclusive interview with People, Zebisch spoke about how Anstead has been handling the split.

"Even though this is a really difficult time for Christina, she’s doing her best to tune out all the noise and focus her energy on her children and her work," Zebisch told the outlet. She explained that Anstead "remains positive" and has been spending time "with people who are uplifting her and letting her know she’s going to be okay." At the end of the day, "her children are happy and healthy and that all that matters," Zebisch added.

The publicist also mentioned that despite the flurry of news circulating around the separation, Anstead is trying her best to ignore it. Zebisch even praised her best friend's strength: "Even during the most challenging times, her resilience continues to inspire me every day," she said.

From Zebisch’s perspective, as well as what one source said about Anstead's nonexistent plans to reconcile with her ex, it seems the home reno expert is staying strong and looking ahead to the future. We’re glad to see it! Although, we hope Ant Anstead is also in good spirits, too.
