Christina Hendricks has revealed that she was the hand model for the iconic American Beauty film artwork.
The Good Girls star, 44, lifted the lid on the fun fact on on Thursday night.
“Fun fact…. wait for it…I used to be a model and sometimes a hand model…. this is my hand and another model’s stomach….proud to be a part if this film in ANY WAY!!! #americanbeauty,” the Emmy-nominated actress wrote in an Instagram caption.
The famous artwork sees a hand holding a rose on a bare stomach.
Hendricks’ revelation drew quite the reaction from her fellow celebrities.
January Jones and Alison Brie were taken aback by the interesting piece of movie trivia.
The Glow star exclaimed, "Whoa," while her former Mad Men co-star asked, "This is important. How come I didn't know this?"
“Wait…. What!?” questioned Busy Philipps.
Hendricks' Good Girls co-star Retta, who plays Ruby Hill, added, “Staaahhhppp, come I didn’t know this?”
Elle Fanning wrote, “I'M SHOOK!!!!!!” in the comments, while comedian Whitney Cummings added, “This is blowing my mind.”
The 1999 film won five Oscars and starred the now-disgraced Kevin Spacey alongside Annette Bening, Thora Birch and Mena Suvari.
Hendricks recently lent her voice to the Toy Story 4 cast as Gabby Gabby and has also appeared in Sky's Tin Star.
She plays a housewife turned criminal in NBC hit Good Girls, which is also available on Netflix for UK viewers.
