The Christmas market held at London's oldest botanical garden with more than 100 independent stalls
If you want to avoid the crowds of Christmas shoppers this winter, this charming West London market might just be one for you. Chelsea Physic Garden's annual Christmas Fair is back and this year's event promises to be more enchanting than ever.
Hidden inside the city's oldest botanical garden, visitors can take in more than 100 stalls selling everything from unique homeware to handmade accessories. Highlights include small batch candles from the Spitalfields Candle Company, beautiful jacquard scarves from Cotswold Knit, and silk clothing from designer Carole Waller.
There will also be a range of winter plants on offer, as well as one of a kind wreaths and table decorations made by the Physic Garden’s Growing Friends collective. Foodies are also in luck as they can pick up mouth-watering Chinese sauces, Italian olive oil, Sussex-made chocolate and food hampers from Partridges.

Guests can then relax with seasonal favourites like hot chocolate and mulled wine in the garden's café. There will also be stalls selling refreshments in the market itself.
The Christmas Fair at Chelsea Physic Garden is taking place from 10am-5pm on November 21-23 and 10am-4pm on Sunday, November 24. Adult tickets cost £8 and can be purchased here or on the door.
Children under 16 will be allowed in for free. There is no parking onsite so it is best to arrive using public transport.
The closest Tube station is Sloane Square on the District and City lines. The 170 bus to Victoria train station also stops right outside.
You can find Chelsea Physic Garden at 66 Royal Hospital Rd, SW3 4HS.
