Christopher Biggins has revealed that the I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here stars are kept in the dark about their fellow campmates ahead of the show’s launch.

The Porridge actor, who won I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! in 2007, made an appearance on Lorraine where he revealed several behind the scenes secrets.

With the new series of the ITV show set to start on November 18, the iconic entertainer explained what the new jungle residents would be doing to prepare.

“They should be packing and making their way out,” he told host Lorraine Kelly.

“You all arrive separately and you’re given a minder and you don’t see anyone. You have no idea what’s going on.”

Recalling his time in the jungle, the star added: “When I did it, you had no idea what was going on on the outside world.”

Whilst I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here fans wait for the official line-up, Biggins revealed who he would like to see take part in the show.

“Without doubt, the only person I’d like to see in there is the Queen. Everything is moving forward with the Royal family!,” he quipped to a giggling Lorraine.

Meanwhile, Extra Camp presenter Joe Swash recently revealed that Holly Willoughby agreed to stand in for Ant McPartlin as a “favour” to him.

“She’s such good friends with the boys, and it’s someone doing them a favour, it’s not someone going in to try and enhance their career,” he told the Mirror.

“Holly’s so good at what she does, she’ll be amazing, and I’m looking forward to it.”

Willoughby’s appointment on the show came after Ant announced he was continuing his break from TV to focus on his well-being.

“My recovery is going very well and for that to continue having spoken to Dec and ITV, I have made the decision to take the rest of the year off. I’d like to thank both Dec and ITV for their continued support and I look forward to getting back to work in the new year,” Ant McPartlin said in a statement.
