Christopher Nolan could well be making the move from Batman to Bond.
IMDb Pro has recently listed Nolan's production company Syncopy, which he set up with his wife Emma Thomas, as a production company on Bond 25.
And given that Nolan has directed pretty much every movie produced by Syncopy, with the notable exception being Zack Snyder's Man of Steel, this suggests there's a good chance he'll be directing the next 007 outing.
Having said that, it's not certain that Syncopy are actually producing Bond 25 given that IMDb can be updated by its users, although a Bond fan account – which broke the original news – has said that IMDb has double-checked and confirmed the information.
Even so, we'll take this news with a pinch of salt for now until there is official confirmation.
After all, we still don't even know if Bond 25 will star Daniel Craig for his fifth outing as James Bond, and further uncertainty comes with the news that five Hollywood studios are apparently in competition for the rights to the next movie.
The Nolan rumours arrive shortly after Bond producers were said to be keen on signing up Sherlock's Paul McGuigan to direct Bond 25.
Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli were apparently impressed with the work he did on their upcoming movie Film Stars Don't Die in Liverpool, starring Annette Bening and Jamie Bell.
Basically, at this point, no one really knows what Bond 25 will look like, but we're intrigued to find out.
