Cilla Black Tribute To Be Aired This Christmas?

ITV are reportedly planning on honouring the late Cilla Black this festive season with an hour-long programme paying tribute to the showbiz legend.

Insiders claim that the special will be a “real tear-jerker” and will feature unseen footage of the star, who sadly passed away earlier this year after a fall at her Spanish home, aged 72 years old.

The show is also going to have exclusive commentary from her famous friends, including Christopher Biggins, Sir Cliff Richard, and Paul O’Grady, who have all agreed to share their private memories of Cilla.

Speaking to the Daily Mirror, a source explained: “Cilla’s death was one of the biggest showbiz events of 2015 and this new programme will honour her career in the best way possible.

“ITV expect millions to tune in - and it is likely to be a real tear-jerker for her fans.”

The film’s release date is yet to be confirmed but it is thought that it will air during prime time Christmas telly next month, and it was created with the blessing of her three sons, 45-year-old Robert, 41-year-old Ben, and 35-year-old Jack.

The TV legend’s funeral was also broadcast across the nation and featured touching tributes from her celeb pals.
