Channel 4's The Circle returned last night with its third series kicking off with a humdinger of a twist.

At the end of the premiere episode, we found out that Yolanda (playing as Chris) wasn't as blocked as she thought, as she was told that she could carry on playing... with a cloned profile of another player!

Tonight's (March 17) episode saw her agonise over the decision, seeing as she would have to convince everyone she was the 'real' person she cloned, despite not knowing what private conversations they'd had already.

Eventually, Yolanda elected to play as Tally, someone who has flown under the radar so far.

The producers helped her out by giving her some notes and allowing her to monitor Tally in an ice-breaker round, but soon enough, she was thrown into the mix and left to deal with the chaos.

Orange Tally (the fake Tally) and Blue Tally (the real Tally) both entered the group chat to accuse each other of being a catfish, which really stressed out the real Tally.

The other players didn't know what to think, with some thinking the fake Tally was real. Vithun saw right through it though, suspecting that Yolanda had been brought back.

Incredibly, both Tallys invited Manrika to a private chat at the same time. Manrika did accept the invite from real Tally, and even though she wasn't 100% convinced, the pair made an alliance to have each other's backs. Meanwhile, the fake Tally formed a friendship with Vithun.

Could the group eventually vote out the real Tally and keep in her fake? Even if they don't, The Circle's latest twist has elevated its concept to the next level, and viewers could not get enough:
