A circular walk in Norfolk has been named among the best routes to explore this winter.
The Telegraph's list of Britain’s finest winter walks, with a cosy pub at the end, has included the Winterton Circular.
The loop is a six-mile trek taking walkers through the village of Winterton, passing the resting place of the 'Norfolk Giant' Robert Hales and strolling along the dune-backed beach.

The walk ends with a visit to the historic Fisherman's Return in The Lane which has only had a handful of owners in the last 100 years.
The Telegraph article said: "As the name suggests, the village of Winterton has always been a place to over-winter.
"It was a seasonal 'tun' (settlement) used by farmers who fished during the colder months.
"Now it's a place for an invigorating walk."
The beach in Winterton has recently been used as a set for a World War 2 documentary with actors spotted wearing military uniforms.
Other winter walk locations on the list included routes in Kent, Aberdeenshire, Northumberland and Shropshire.
