City centre markets return with live music and entertainment

The Art Quarter Summer Market returns this weekend supporting small businesses and local makers.

Taking place on Saturday, June 29, between 11am and 5pm, at MetQuarter, shoppers will be able to peruse unique pieces from more than 40 independent and local Liverpool artists. Everything including jewellery, tableware, ceramics, textiles, artwork, candles and more will be available.

The Art Quarter Summer Market will host stalls from original makers, artisans, and crafters including Lazykate Textiles, Mollusc by the Sea, Pebble Art Studio UK, Bird House Press and more talented creatives.

Pets can also get in on the action as Pawdrobe HQ will host a stall selling unique handmade designer apparel in funky and classic styles.

Completely free to attend, The Art Quarter Summer Market will also offer a full day of entertainment with live music and face painting for children.

The market will support two local charities on the day. Shoppers will have the chance to donate to Tom’s Charity, who raise money for children undergoing cancer treatment at Alder Hey Hospital and Metquarter’s official charity partner The Hope Foundation who provide help and support to the homeless and disadvantaged within Liverpool.
