City Crews Clean Up Aftermath of Flash Flooding North of Mexico City

At least two people died as a result of flash flooding in Ecatepec de Morelo, Mexico, that left debris and accumulated water across the region on Tuesday, September 7, local media reported.

This footage released by the Government of Ecatepec de Morelos shows city workers draining floodwaters and cleaning garbage and debris from flooded streets.

The town of Tula de Allende, located about 60 miles from Ecatepec, reported at least 17 hospital patients had died from floodwaters, President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador said.
