City footpath could be closed for 27 days

A number of footpaths and roads in Worcester are being closed for repairs.

York Place will be closed for two days for road repairs starting tomorrow (Monday, November 28), but residential, emergency and footpath access will be maintained.

Footpath reconstruction work starts tomorrow in Avon Road, between both ends of Teme Road.

The road will be closed at times, as needed, but residential access will always be maintained from at least one end of the road.

This work could take up to 27 days.

Lion Walk footpath in the city centre will be closed for five days starting tomorrow, between Lion Court and Westbury Street.

This is while footpath reconstruction work takes place.
