Clarkson’s Farm star Kaleb Cooper has revealed he has an unusual obsession.

The 26-year-old won legions of fans when he appeared on the Amazon Prime show thanks to his love of farming. And while Kaleb says he is “obsessed with tractors”, he has another passion that might surprise fans.

Kaleb told The Sun he enjoys different hairstyles. Although he has been seen with a number of different hairdos on Clarkson’s Farm, there is one that stood out for Kaleb.

Talking to The Sun’s TV Magazine, Kaleb said: “My dad’s bald, so I know for a damn fact I’m going to end up there. I thought I’d try different hairstyles and pick one I really like, which was the perm.

“But it was too high maintenance. I haven’t got enough time in the day to do that - the cows need feeding.”

Former Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson was less impressed with Kaleb’s perm however. On the hit programme, Clarkson joked the barber used a pair of sheers on Kaleb’s hair.

He said: “It doesn’t look good, it looks ridiculous. Did you pay money for it?”

Kaleb previously revealed he ditched the perm to “play it safe” after an unfortunate accident led to part of his hair “cracking off”. Appearing on Lorraine, he joked the stress of working at Diddly Squat Farm in the Cotswolds meant he “lost 34.4 percent of my hair”.

According to The Metro, he added: “Well unfortunately, when we were filming series 2 of Clarkson’s Farm, we were filming the restaurant, which went extremely well, but as I had the perm I didn’t have time to dry it and it became so dry.

“Therefore, it just started cracking off, so I had to change it and I went back to this cut to play it safe and hopefully have it grow back to have a perm again.”

Kaleb has won over fans on Clarkson’s Farm thanks to his quick-witted nature and passion for farming. He has been working in agriculture since he started helping at a dairy farm when he was just 13.

He then began selling chickens around his hometown of Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire. He has become a household name as Clarkson’s farm hand on the show, but has regularly lambasted the TV presenter for being a “muppet”, saying he “never listens”.
