What we know about Clarkson's Farm season 5 and stars returning
Clarkson's Farm series four will be out in 2025
Cameras are rolling for Clarkson's Farm season five before the fourth season has even hit the small screen.
Season four will be streaming on Prime Video in 2025 after the stars of the show recently wrapped on filming. Jeremy Clarkson confirmed: "We’ve just finished filming four. That’s out next year."
The Clarkson's Farm team are confident it will be an instant hit after season three was a roaring success, courting the attention of 10.7 million views on Prime Video. Memorable scenes included the Clarkson's Farm stars being threatened with being "thrown out" of Downing Street and the presenter in tears celebrating a huge win against council.
There has been lots of excitement building around the series, especially with Clarkson opening his first pub The Farmer's Dog in the Cotswolds in August. TV cameras and the filming crew were seen at the pub, so it's expected it will feature in the fourth series.
The TV crew were believed to have filmed Clarkson at a protest about Labour's new inheritance tax plans as it will see farmers pay a 20% tax on inherited agricultural assets worth over £1m from April 2026 onwards.
Yahoo understands all the main contributors are returning to the Prime Video show for series four and five. The main cast include: Clarkson, his girlfriend Lisa Hogan, farm manager Kaleb Cooper, Charlie Ireland and Gerald Cooper.
News of Clarkson's Farm season five come as it was awarded The Reith Award at The Screen Test Awards. The awards are based on research conducted by Radio Times in partnership with the University of Sussex in 2023 on the television and audio in people’s lives.

Jeremy Clarkson's announcement
On Bonfire Night, former Top Gear presenter Clarkson confirmed the future of Clarkson's Farm with a series five announcement that involved fireworks making a number five in the night sky.
In a piece to camera, he said: "Over the years, bright lights have been used to make many important announcements. The birth of baby Jesus, for example. But tonight they're being used to make an announcement that's even bigger than that. Season five of Clarkson's Farm is coming. Eat your heart out James Burke."
(Editor's note: Tomorrow's World presenter James Burke has been widely credited as presenting 'the greatest shot in TV history' while covering a rocket launch in 1978.)
Already this year, there had been some hints that season five was on the way. Back in August, Clarkson shared a playful post about show producer Andy Wilman. He wrote: "The dogs pleaded with Andy Wilman to be in season 5."
What we don't know
What animals will there be?
Every season, Clarkson has introduced new animals and farming ideas, plus, top of the range machinery to the farm to keep things moving forward as well as keeping things fresh for the viewers at home.
In season three, the Grand Tour presenter was heartbroken after introducing pigs to the farm — and watching helplessly as many of the piglets died as well as seeing his pig Baroness die. Pig farming wasn't his only experiment on series three that he tried with mixed success, he also tried out mushroom growing and he bought a fancy Lamborghini tractor.
In Clarkson's latest book about the farm Diddly Squat: Home to Roost, which has recently hit our shelves, he said he might be better off trying to breed ostriches. Llamas and alpacas could also be on the cards for later series of the show as Clarkson continues to try out new ideas.
When is Clarkson's Farm next out?
While we know season four is out next year, we don't know the date it is coming out or whether it will drop in two instalments like the last season. Season three was out this year in the springtime in April and filming for the fourth series was already in the works at that point. Clarkson's Farm season two was out earlier in February 2023. It's likely the release will be in the first half of 2025.
As for season five, filming has already begun so hopefully we can expect to see it on our screens in 2026. There has only been a year hiatus between series one being released in June 2021 and series two dropping in February 2023.
When will Clarkson's Farm end?
After much heartbreak played out on our screens in season three over the deaths of the piglets and pigs, Clarkson revealed farms don't have happy endings. In his experience on Diddly Squat Farm, he said: "Well, farming doesn’t have many happy endings, as we've discovered."
While there are "no happy endings" as such, it appears to be no official end date in mind for Clarkson's Farm as a series.
Previously, Diddly Squat Farm shop manager Hogan revealed they will continue to film Clarkson's Farm for as long as it continues to educate people watching at home.
When promoting season three, she said: "As long as it's educating people, and showing people how difficult farming is, and it's helping people appreciate food in a way that they may not have before. Maybe people will pop their bread in the freezer instead of throwing it out when they see how much work goes into making a loaf of bread."
