Clarkson's Farm star Kaleb Cooper proposes to girlfriend on Christmas Day

Jeremy Clarkson's right-hand man had something extra special to celebrate

Clarkson's Farm star Kaleb Cooper has proposed to his long-term girlfriend on Christmas Day.

Cooper, who shot to fame as Jeremy Clarkson's perm-loving righthand man on his Prime Video series, popped the question to other half Taya after a six-and-a-half year romance.

Announcing the news on Instagram, Cooper wrote: "She said yes! 2022 has been an amazing year. This definitely tops it off. I honestly can’t wait for 2023 and all the following years after that.

"[Taya] your my best friend as well as the love of my life. Was a long wait for this (6 and a half years)."

A delighted Taya wrote underneath: "I LOVE YOU CANT WAIT TO MARRY YOU!"

Among those sharing his celebrations was Gogglebox's Pete Sandiford, who wrote: "Congratulations to you both!"

Jeremy Clarkson's daughter Emily added: "Yayyyyyy congrats guys! Xxxxxx"

YouTuber Caspar Lee, who also got engaged on Christmas Day, sent his best wishes and said: "Congrats mate ! Great time to get engaged."

"Thank you mate, congratulations to you both as well," Cooper responded.

The happy news tops off a stellar year for the couple, who are currently expecting their second child together.

They already have one young son called Oscar.

Announcing Taya's pregnancy with a sweet photo of the family on the farm, he wrote: "So excited to announce that baby cooper number 2 is cooking nicely. My number one goal is to buy myself a farm and be able to bring my kids up enjoying what I think is the best lifestyle which is the farming lifestyle."
